Uh, you guys, I don't know if this has been talked about, but she said in an interview months ago that she was done with wrestling. She can't work anymore (and she was never good in the ring to begin with), she's already done Playboy twice, and her entire gimmick before she got injured was that she carried a dog to the ring.

Is there any reasonable reason for them to keep her on?

Well, she's been doing promotional work for them. They've been known to keep the likes of Hillbilly Jim and Outback Jack in employment for many years after their ring days to do this kind of PR work, so a long serving, popular and aesthetically pleasing female in that role seems a no-brainer.

So it's no surprise that she's through with the company from an on-air perspective... we knew that already... but it is a surprise she wasn't retained in a PR capacity, simply as she's been doing a lot of it recently, a la Ric Flair.
