14th Novemember 2008 is the date to get your next fix and it's gone all 3D



Also the transfer system has been overhauled:

Miles Jacobson: We've essentially re-written the code for the whole way in which clubs buy and sell players. It won't be immediately noticeable to the user but it's a massive change under the hood that will mean the whole worldwide transfer market will be a lot more accurate and a lot more efficient. The types of players that have been shortlisted by the AI clubs and the purchasing decisions they make will reflect reality a whole lot better.

Other features include more assistant manager feedback pre, post and in-game (Are your tactics working, what players aren't playing to potential), pre-and-post match press conferences and you can even have relationships/feuds with individual journalists!

Apparently there is, I was hoping that too. 3D probably slows the whole thing down.

Yeah, you can go back to the 2D engine whenever you like.

Apparently, the 3D engine has been designed with a 4 year old laptop in mind, so shouldn't slow things down really.

I'm having too much fun dominating Europe with Wolves in 08, what with Ebanks-Blake being the new Michael Owen and having signed Alves and Mascherano

Won't pick this up for a while. Always always buggy as hell on release.

My laptop died on me just as I was getting into my most recent 08 game with Wolves so I'll be waiting until 09 is out before playing again
