A demo was already confirmed in the OXM, with the game coming out in a couple of weeks I wouldn't be surprised to see it this week.

Would love to see the demo today, but I don't see it happening.

Last year a date 'leaked' for the demo, and it didn't come out till about 3 or 4 days later.

So, not to be an ass or anything, but since my browser won't load Youtube or similar links right now, let me just ask. How's the grappling engine look? Do they include those wrestling "classes" or whatever (Speed, Showman, Triple H)? Are the basics the same, or have they improved them?

I had no interest in SVR08, but I really want a new wrestling game, and TNA isn't even an option.

From what I remember seeing, they've overhauled the Styles system - reading up, looks like the abilities they gave you will still be in the game, but rather than each wrestler having 2, they get up to 6 out of a pool of 20 overall abilities. Which sounds much better than the forced pigeonholing they had with the old system.

Just watched that tag team video.

Alot of the apperance looks different, but to me, the gameplay seems kind of the same. But they did reanimate some of the moves. The 619 looks sweet.

That hot tag motion was awesome.

And the commentary is great, too.

Just scoped out x-box live, couldn't find the demo. But then again, that was the first time I looked for game demos on my xbox.

Porksoda: Yeah the commentary is tons better. Thank god they're actually calling moves now instead of just jabbering about the superstars and constantly repeating.

450: I should imagine it'll be there by the end of the week. Maybe even tomorrow, who knows.

A gaming mag in the UK gave the PS3 and 360 versions of Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 an 88% out of 100.

Basically saying it's a major step up from last year, but there are still some flaws.

Also, no word on the 360 demo yet. I'm keeping it comes this week. As my Spiderman game comes on Friday morning, and that will probably consume all of the two weeks until SVR comes out.

There is no word on a 360 demo, I think the demo will be on PSN/XBL either Thursday or next week. I hope it's this week since I'm anxious to try it.

The demo is only available for the PS3 and at Gamestop right now, we have wait another few couple days to a week for it on Xbox live and PSN.

If you ask self-proclaimed chick magnet The Miz, all the ladies want him and all the guys want to be him. And, quite frankly, it's hard to argue otherwise.

John Morrison endured a personal evolution of sorts after capturing the vacated ECW Championship at Vengeance: Night of Champions. The Tuesday Night Delight, formerly known as Johnny Nitro, officially renamed himself John Morrison, his given birth name, on the historic July 17, 2007, edition of ECW. Morrison had reached the peak of his fame with the ECW Championship and he believed he could "be himself" from that point, forward.

Shortly thereafter, Morrison found unexpected success alongside another brazen, rising star in the Land of the Extreme, The Miz. The unlikely tandem secured the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown territory following the unique talent exchange arrangement between SmackDown and ECW managing officials. The Shaman of Sexy's vanity reached new heights, much like his sports-entertainment career.

And Morrison has good reason to be confident. He has never been too far away from gold since his debut in 2005, capturing tag team gold as well as the Intercontinental Championship. The Shaman of Sexy was ultimately drafted to ECW during the 2007 Supplemental Draft on WWE.com, and his career was given new life. As the world can now see, Morrison has taken full advantage of his extreme home, and ECW may never be the same.
