Jim Mora was still a Vick Supporter. I would think that if he had to choose between Vick and Seneca Wallace, he'd take VIck anyday. Then again, who wouldn't?

"Hi, I'm Michael Vick. Just want to let all you little inner city thug wannabe's that dogs is people too, so don't make them kill for sport. Or else some white people with badges and big words will come and take away your millions of dollars and endorsements. Prison isnt so bad though, there's always a new guard that wants you to sign something for them and they always have the best stuff to trade. Did I mention that I'm Michael Vick?Anyway, I'm Michael Vick, and this has been me speaking for 30 required seconds."
Or something along those lines. |

Vince Young wants to be a starter, don't think he can hold down a position unless they put in a totally non-traditional offense for him.
Also Rodney Harrison retired today, dude was a beast - played unbelievable for the Patriots at the end of his career. ![]() Probably my favorite Harrison play Think it's pretty easy to guess what my least favorite Harrison play is... |

Always hated Rodney Harrison. Cheap shot on Trent Green that preseason.. but then again.. that paved the way for Warner to be a starter for us.. SUPERBOWL

Tom Brady's surgeon spoke for the first time Monday about the star's rehabilitation from his knee reconstruction, and the doctor didn't try to hide his astonishment at Brady's recovery. AFC East ESPN.com's Tim Graham writes about all things AFC East in his division blog. • Blog network: NFL Nation The Los Angeles Times reported Dr. Neal ElAttrache said Brady "even exceeded what I thought he was going to be able to do, and I was expecting big things from him." ElAttrache said: "Let's face it, guys that are athletes like him, they're strung together different. By and large, they follow the same biologic rules as the rest of us. However, they're able to do things with their neuromuscular control and their strength gains and how they respond to exercise a little bit differently. Within safe limits of how we know how these things heal after an operation like this, I had to take that into consideration." Brady returned to organized team activities with the New England Patriots on Tuesday and spoke to the media for the first time Thursday since suffering a season-ending tear in several knee ligaments in the first game of the season. [+] EnlargeAP Photo/Stephan Savoia Tom Brady has exceeded even his doctor's high expectations in rehabbing his knee following his October surgery. A two-time Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and the NFL MVP in 2007, Brady crumpled to the ground in September when he was tackled in the pocket by Kansas City Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard. ElAttrache, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in L.A. and the Los Angeles Dodgers' team doctor, performed the knee reconstruction on Oct. 6. In addition to Brady, ElAttrache has performed surgeries on other top-flight athletes, including the Los Angeles Lakers' Kwame Brown and the Dodgers' Jason Schmidt. "With regard to his recovery of strength, I've never seen anything quite like it," ElAttrache said to the Times. "With an average person, it would have taken probably twice as long to get range of motion and strength back." There were several small setbacks as Brady had to have follow-up procedures for a post-operative staph infection that developed. "I remember when we came out of the original procedure and five days later things weren't going the way that we hoped, and I think it was his instincts and quick decision-making that got me in there before anything really bad could happen," Brady said to the Times. "If you misdiagnose something like that, then you have big problems. It was his judgment and instincts, and then him assuring me that everything was going to be OK. “ Let's face it, guys that are athletes like him, they're strung together different. ” -- Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Tom Brady's knee reconstruction "Obviously, with how I feel now, he was 100 percent right in what he did. It's great for me to have so much trust and to know that hopefully nothing ever comes up again but if it does that I have somebody like him in my corner." Brady told the Times neither he nor ElAttrache doubted Brady would return for the 2009 season. But that point was brought home to ElAttrache during a workout in January in which he got to see Brady in his natural environment. "When I saw the happiness on his face whenever he had that ball in his hands and was able to get out there and move around, I thought, 'Wow, he's much further ahead than I even thought he could be,'" ElAttrache told the Times. "That was sort of his gift to me to show me we're good." Information from The Associated Press was used in this report. Can you say steroids? Yes yes. Last edited by RP; 06-04-2009 at 12:44 AM. |

Oh I don't know, he only made the NFL All Pro 1st team three times and the 2nd team once. He only 2 Pro Bowls but I'd say that was more because of reputation. Played in 4 Superbowls, starting in 3 of them/winning 2 of them and he also holds the record for the most tackles in a season by a Patriots' defensive back.
I know I said accolades but he's obviously had a very good career, especially coming up huge in the playoffs (ask your boy Peyton Manning & Donvan McNabb about that). I highly doubt you think he's the most overrated player in the history of the NFL and you are just saying it to be a retard. Also you probably need to look up the definition of overrated, most people talking about him now in the media tag him as a guy who was a great player but a level below a Hall of Famer, which I think fits. Even if you could (which you can't) don't you think someone could just make a counter argument listing off players who have similar credentials that are considered great? One of the top of my head is Walter Jones, who was a 3 time All-Pro first team I believe.
You just don't like Rodney Harrison, which is perfectly fine, but saying he was junk is pretty stupid. Can't say I'm surprised you'd say that though. |

Rodney Harrison made a career in San Diego making dirty hits, getting suspended and being injured. Then he goes to New England, a well established team by then. Takes over the saftey roll and mysteriously assumes some sort of leadership because he's old and he's Rodney Harrison. Despite the fact that Bruschi was always the leader of that team. You're favorite play picture of Harrison is fucking hilarious, because Manning for some reason, threw the ball right at him. Wow Great play Rodney! I could have intercepted that ball.
Do you know how many players i can name that played in 4 Superbowls and won 1 to 2 of them? Its a big number. |

I concur with Innovator's favorite Rodney Harrison moment. But yeah, saying Harrison wasn't any good is retarded. Guy may have been a dick, but he could play. And even being a dick, certainly not my least favorite safety.

Way to single out one little thing and make it seem like that's the only reason why I think he was a good player, do you work for FOX News? I want to see this list of 20 players who made the All Pro first team 3 times and are considered shit. Maybe you can give me a list of 20 players who have 30 sacks & 30 INTs in their career while you are at it.

To put Rodney Harrisons career into perspective
Bob Sanders has 2× All-Pro selection (2005, 2007) 2× Pro Bowl selection (2005, 2007) Super Bowl XLI champion 2007 AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year 2007 GMC Defensive Player of the Year 2007 AFC Defensive Player Of The Year In 5 seasons compared to Harrisons 8 seasons. How bout Mike Brown, 1 probowl selection, 2 All Pro teams. Thats pretty comparable. Roy Williams has 5 Pro bowl selections and 1 All Pro team. And he cant even cover a reciever. Tony Parish Patrick Surtain Chris McCalister - 3 pro bowls, 2 all pros, 1 superbowl win Ronde Baber- 5 pro bowls, 5 all pro's, 1 superbowl win, 37 int's, 23 sacks. John Lynch - 9 pro bowls, 4 All Pro's, 1 Superbowl win Troy Vincent- 5 pro bowls, 3 all pro's Charles Woodson- 5 pro bowls, 4 all pro's Blaine Bishop- 4 pro bowls, 3 all pro's Carnell Lake- 5 pro bowls, 4 all pro's. 1990 all decade team too. Robert Griffith Leroy Butler Ray Buchanon Merton Hanks Harrison dont stick out from none of these people. You're trying to give him all this undeserved credit for joining an established team who were Superbowl favorites with or without him. Not to mention he was injured like 25% of the time he was on the Patriots. He's nothing special at all. |

Rodney Harrison has missed 33 games in the last 4 seasons for New England. The 2004 Superbowl season was the only season Harrison played 16 games. When the Patriots won in 2005, he played 3. I love how you make him out to be some Superbowl hero too. Its such a Patriots fan thing to do.
