Favorite Umaga Moments (Vids)

So as to not to have vids get lost in the shuffle in the official thread reporting his death, this thread can be used to post some of the better moments from Eddie Fatu's career. For a big man, he was really good in the ring and did a damn good job with his gimmick. Hell, I even enjoyed him in 3MW - just two huge guys who beat the crap out of you, plus their theme ruled.

Anyway, let's post some vids.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXImc3q7uH4

No embedding allowed on that one, but I like this one because it shows that Umaga was somewhat of a locker room leader, as he was put in charge of hazing Johnny Jeter. Everybody is drunk, yelling UMAGAAAAAAAAA, Cena curses up a storm, Dolph Ziggler has a hilarious laugh, and Carlito talks in his normal speaking voice. Fun vid.

Debuting as Umaga, destroying Ric Flair:

Bischoff and 3 Minute Warning crash the Billy and Chuck "Commitment Ceremony" (skip ahead to 4:50 or so for the reveal)

One of my top favorites, and the fact that he was kicking Steve-O's ass for not selling it.

I can barely even remember umaga using that finisher, they clearly picked the wrong person to do it to, flair looked pretty stiff and akward to get up, not a bad looking neckbreaker though. Can't even remember how long it was till that got shitcanned and the spike got brought into play.

The second vid is probably one of wwe's more suprising moments, i don't think anybody (cue people claiming to know it was bischoff 6 months before the angle) even thought that was bischoff till the three minutes part.

He had that intensity and snap to his moves that made it look like he was really beating the shit out of someone. And the crowd buys it. You don't hear collective groans like that from the audience anymore. At least not for good reasons.

I remember that moment... being pissed at that moron for no-selling, then laughing my ass off when Umaga took it upon himself to kick the ever-living crap out of Steve-O for that.

I went to Monday Night RAW the night they were writing off a few guys for that Pharmacy Scandal. It was the night where Regal got demolished by Cena on the arena floor & the night Jeff Hardy beat Umaga for the IC title and was then demolished by HHH with a sledgehammer. I got to see 2 Umaga bits that night and honestly he was the guy I was hoping to see most of all that night. I was really high on him at that point.

<3 Umanga.

No video, but one of my favorite moments reading about came from an Orton interview after the 2008 draft. He claims him and Umaga were backstage watching, and when Umaga got drafted to SD, Umaga said how happy he was to be away from HHH. But at the end of the show, HHH would also be drafted to SD, and Orton apparently jokingly lauged at Umaga afterwards.
