Now I am not saying TNA is perfect, but hell honestly, when WCW was at its HOTTEST it had just as many fucks up if not more and I still watched it support it. And it didn't get bashed as much as TNA does now.

So it's bad that now for their biggest PPV of the year it will be Angle vs. Hardy vs. Anderson? I call bullshit. A triple threat main event with the most popular guys in the company is very smart. Should they have did a double pin? Should it have been a double count out or dq? All of that has been done before. I've never seen this finish. Two guys beat the hell out of each other for 30 MINS. plus and people trash it. Angle broke a rib for fuck's sake. Sabu is what pissed me off about this ppv. They should fire his ass now. That was a botch fest,and it wasn't Williams fault. MCMG and Gen Me was very good but Gen Me ddt'ing Shelly was dumb. They have like one Face tag team now. Hopefully that means The Guns will be running with the belts for a while. A.J. vs Dreamer was good as well. I knew it wouldn''t be that terrible. The kendo stiick shots were nice, and the fork looked in one shot to be in his eye. If someone puts a fork near my damn eye I'm already thinkin about tappin. it's my freakin eye. Knockouts looked hot. That's about it. Joe choked out Sting. Guess that may be a match at BFG. Good times. Pope and Anderson was good but I've seen them do better.Abyss/Rhino was decent like always. No Lethal,Hernandez,Beer Money,Kaz,Morgan? These men are the future of the company. If Fortune is taking over,put em on the show! No Flair,but no run-ins. I give No Surrender a 6 out of ten. My Thoughts:

Generation Me vs. Motor City
Can anyone tell me what the deal is with London Brawling? Good match as usual with the Guns and Generation Me. I do agree with some posters that they need to add some new moves to the arsenal.

Tommy Dreamer vs. A.J. Styles
Dreamer getting hyped and taking off his t-shirt only to reveal a tank top that looked like it was made with Elmers glue and supplies from Michael's Craft Store was hilarious. It's almost like he knew it was shitty so he wore the t-shirt over it, but during the match he got too hot and the polyester was chafing his fat creases so he had no choice but to take it off. It was made even funnier by the fact that he proceeded to get the business shortly thereafter.

Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Sky
Kinda sad to see what the Knockouts Division has become. Yes they're hot, but there are plenty of hot women who can wrestle and aren't bleach blondes with tongue rings.

Is he trying to be Mankind or Kane? vs. Rhino
Really enjoyed the Abyss/ Rhino match towards the end more so because of Rhino than Abyss. In fact, Rhino might be one of the most underrated and overlooked talents of the last 10 or 15 years. I really hate when they fight through the crowd/ backstage area and the fans probably do to since the "TNA Tron" (LOL) looks like someone brought their LCD flat screen from home and mounted it above the entrance. Just keep it in and around the ring.

Sabu vs. Fake ass William Regal
Yes, the Sabu match had some botches, but I saw the story they were trying to tell. We were kind of bashing Sabu in the chat, but I kind of feel bad for him thinking back on it. This looked like a "The Wrestler" type moment in Sabu's career and I could just imagine him taking the bus back to the shitty Motel 6 he's been living at for the past three weeks and sitting in the dark on the bed thinking about hanging the boots up..... right before he hits the crack pipe and passes out.

Sting and Nash vs. Samoa Joe & Jeff "I'm the only one on this show with pyro because I'm the boss" Jarrett
I wasn't too happy with the "Wolfpac" vs. Joe and Jarrett match. I liked where they were going with Sting and Nash not wanting to step aside. The angle would have been better and I would have been happier with the ending if it was Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal teaming together trying to get Sting and Nash out of the way. Let the young guys get the rub. At this point, Jarrett serves no purpose in my opinion. If all of the "legends" on the TNA roster were to get together for a picture, they'd have Jarrett be the one to hold the camera and take it.

Hardy vs. Angle
Jeff Hardy in TNA is sort of like Dustin Rhodes in TNA. They both put way too much shitty makeup on their face and got fat and sloppy. That being said, I didn't mind the match with Angle and Hardy. I saw what they were trying to do with it, it was just really poorly executed. It's made even more boss by the fact that Kurt kept going with a dislocated rib. I just hope to God he doesn't use it as an excuse to get back on the painkillers.

Pope vs. Anderson
I'll admit, I have been one of the biggest supporters of Pope, but he's starting to annoy me a tad with his promos and when you have to go from a Pope promo to an Anderson promo it's just too much over the topness from both of those guys. I lost interest early and never really got into the match.

here is my review of TNA NO SURRENDER 2010

YOU GET THE VERY FIRST "LIVE" VERSION OF THE SCHLOME SAYS....WRITTEN WHILE WATCHING THE SHOW SO IT MAKES EVEN LESS SENSE AS YOU READ IT!

Show kicks off with a well done video package showing the 4 opponents in tonights world title tournament matches. I have missed Impact for the last 3 weeks so I appreciate the effort in the package. Looking forward to both matches.


Match 1 - Tag Team Championships
Motor City Machine Guns vs Generation Me

I LOVE both of these tag teams so really looking forward to this matchup. Here we go. Watching MCMG vs Gen Me is like night and day compared to the Beer Money match series. It is a breath of fresh air to know that there are other great tag teams in this company that can create DIFFERENT styles of matchups. The first few minutes I'm seeing tons of grapple holds and very fast paced sweeps and pin attempts. All 4 men are so fucking agile. Ok the match is about 8 minutes in at this point and i can't breath. It is seriously one high impact move now after another. A little botching going on but not taking away from the match. WWE needs to take note...this is how to open a show. Shelly just did a suicide dive to one of the Bucks on the arena floor. He hit him like a damn missle head first. That was already like the 5th or 6th time I have jaw dropped marked out in this match. MCMG are the best tag team in wrestling today. Generation ME reminds me of the Rockers. Alright match is over. MCMG wins. The crowd was going apeshit during the last minute with about a dozen head kicks all around. THIS is going down as one of MY all time favorite tag team matches. Ever. Seriously. Guns do it again, creating an instant classic. Way to make the young Bucks look like gold too.

Winners: MCMG

MATCH RATING - 10 nipple shots on live TV out of 10.


Match 2 - X Division Championship
Douglas Williams vs Sabu (?)

I have missed Impact a few weeks and now Sabu is getting a X Div title shot? Crazy. Ok here we go it's starting. Sabu looks old and his skin is really loose. 6 minutes in to this thing. Douglas looks fine but Sabu is very weak. He is botching and the moves that he is hitting are landing very light. Obviously he doesn't want to hurt himself further but that is when you get inventive and try new things instead of relying on old tricks but making them look shitty. It's obvious after the chair spots that Douglas, who usually bores me, is carrying this match. Tazz's commentary is really annoying tonight. Who woulda guessed another Sabu chair botch on the ropes. So Sabu goes through the table and gets hit with the title belt for Dougie to retain. 2 words to describe Sabu's performance: Botchy & Fluffy. He needs to stop now. Douglas carried this match and did a heck of a job making it somewhat believable. This was actually a good match considering all the shit that went wrong. It was a fender bender and not a train wreck is what I mean.

Winner: Douglas Williams

MATCH RATING - 5 DX cock jokes bleeped out on live TV out of 10


Match 3 - Knockouts Match
Madison Rayne vs Velvet Sky

Almost chose to skip this match but meh I'll watch it. So far it sucks. Madison can't punch for shit. Velvet wins with a nice DDT. Match gets extra points for being short.

Winner: Velvet

MATCH RATING: 5 LayCool nip slips out of 10



Match 4 - Falls Count Anywhere Match
Rhino vs Abyss

I didn't know these 2 started a feud or what it's about. Perhaps a lil video package would have been nice. I LOVE the fuck out of Rhino and I hate Abyss. i hope this doesn't suck. So yeah....Fist flying right off the bat. Here we go. Abyss can't sell a throw into a fence because he is too damn slow. This whole match is so slow. I'm not a fan of arena fighting so much. LOL @ mike tenay saying a "holey bleep moment" when Abyss went through the ramp. The fighting under the stage bit was boring and cheesy. Rhino finally starting to hulk up with a cookie sheet. Finally some action. GORE and then he kicked out of the Black Hole Slam? This is fun. Ouch a missed Gore into the steel railing and then the pin. First half of the match was absolutely miserable but once they made their way into the ring it was fun hardcore action.

Winner: Abyss

MATCH RATING: 6 Hardcore chair shots to the skull out of 10.



Match 5 - Tag Team Grudge Match
Jarrett/Joe vs Sting/Nash

Great great great video package here to fill me in. Jarrett is very candid. Glad to see they didn't forgo video packages for all the undercard matches. Very pumped for this match. Here we go. 5 minutes in and Joe is clearing house. This match is actually really great. Crowd is hot. Jarrett wiped out Sting with the bat and Joe made him pass out. Very big let down on the finish as the match was barely over 5 minutes. I wanted more Nash/Joe. Damn. Probably get the big pay off next month.

Winners: Joe & Jarrett

MATCH RATING: 6 Joe face tattoos out of 10


Match 6 - I Quit Match
Styles vs Dreamer

Good video package cuz I was lost here. AJ is gold in this package. Ok entrances going on. Just a thought...there have been a shit ton of gimmick matches tonight. So far so good here. I want a jpeg of Tommy Dreamer getting the fishhook hahah what the fuck. Being honest here. We have seen so much hardcore shit tonight between Sabu, the Abyss match and now this that I'm honestly bored with what they are doing. Any other time I probably could be enjoying this. But right now I just can't wait to see who gives up to move on to some real 1 on 1 matches. A fork. AJ? Seriously? A fork? hahahahhaha. ok back at it. That kendo stick choke was awesome when it broke on AJ's face. The fork to the eye for the win. Anywhere else I would say that was lame but the visual was fucking sick. I liked it. Way better than Cena/Batista.

Winner: AJ Styles

MATCH RATING: 8 Daffney Tattoos out of 10


Match 7 - World Title Tournament
Jeff Hardy vs Kurt Angle

Pumped up for this one on one match. The crowd is split and fully pumped. I just marked out for Angle giving Hardy that whiplash powerbomb. Fucking ouch. I loved Angle stalking Hardy and delivering the Angle Slam into the kickout. Great combo right there. Angle and Cody Rhodes have the BEST moonsaults in wrestling. Such height. SWANTON TO THE ARENA FLOOR. Holy shit. Holy shit. That was pretty sick. Shades of Eddie as Angle delivers a frog splash. This match is fucking good. Was that the 4th twist of fate in one match? Jeff needs new moves. Holy fuck I can't believe he kicked out of that Swanton. That was a close 2. 4 minutes of ankle lock. This is sick. THANK GOD Bischoff giving 5 more minutes. Ok another great 5 minutes is gone....why not just let them go until the end why have yet another 5 minute clock? Oh well if thats the biggest thing to bitch about in this match I'll take it. That blood spot reminded me tons of Austin. Come on Bisch this suspence is killing me! If you want to declare a no contest due to a deep cut...best bet is to leave some blood on his face to make it look like the cut is actually deep. Lame finish but I expected it. Doesn't take away the fact that this is to be considered the best TNA match of the year. Hands down.

Winner: no contest

MATCH RATING: 10 pairs of Dudley Glasses out of 10.
+2 bonus points for the drama of the overtime


Match 8 - World Title Tournament
Mr. Anderson vs The Pope

Shewww...tough act to follow. Here we go. That last match wore me out. I'm honestly ready to be done watching for a while. I'm gonna finish but nothing will top that last one. So far so boring lolz. The crowd is dead for this match but the action isn't bad yet or anything just wiped the fuck out. Ok anderson just won. That wasn't that good of a match..why did this go on after the Angle match? Bad placement.

Winner: Anderson

MATCH RATING: 7 Brittish Bulldogs out of 10


Really should have ended the show with Angle. That ending was fucking weak sauce and the crowd was fucking spent. As was I. Anyways this was a good PPV for TNA. Some great shit and some lame shit as usual but honestly I'm walking away happy.
