Butthole Surfers
Recently heard their biggest hit, "Pepper", for the first time in years. I only know a couple of songs by them (The other being 'Who Was in my Room last night"), but they seem like they could be pretty decent...or a band that puts out a couple of decent songs, and is absolute shit otherwise.

Anyone have any opinions/song recs in regards to them? Are they worth looking into?

I have their Locust Abortion Technician album. I enjoy it, but it is not an album I listen to regularly. Worth owning, though.

I have a dozen songs by them. I once downloaded the entire discography, but there was too much filler in my opinion. But there's at least one or two brilliant song per album.

i think electric larryland is the best, although most people seem to rate independant worm saloon. there is a lot of weird crap but there are some top tunes too. plus pepper is on the one i recommended.
