Eddie Guerrero Appreciation Thread *possible JD Spoilers*
I don't know if this has been done before, so if that's the case, then apologies. Now on to the topic at hand....

Eddie Guerrero IMO has proven himself a main-eventer and a legitimate champ.
Last night at Judgement Day, he provided us all with an entertaining match, which was actually pretty consistent, and then took it up a few levels with the finishing brawl, and a wicked blade job.
(For those of you who haven't seen it yet, Eddie didn't bleed, he poured, gushed, and pretty much flooded the ring)
Now then, considering he was up against Bradshaw, a proven mediocre non-draw, the pressure must have been on Eddie to produce a good match, worthy of the main event.
I believe he did this, and did it well.
Bear in mind that while this wasn't a dazzling match, he wasn't up against the likes of Angle, Benoit, etc. He was up against Bradshaw.
This meant in simple terms that Eddie couldnt rely on Bradshaw to call the match, as it would have been 'Clothesline from Hell, emmmm...'
As it was, it was pretty solid, steady paced match, with a wicked finish (and I don't mean the DQ).

Take this, and all the other matches you've seen him in over the last couple of years, and I've gotta say, I'm glad they've given him the belt. IMO he's more than worthy.

So all kneel and pay homage to Eddie Guerrero - Latino Heat!

I have never once doubted his ability and for once, WWE did it right by giving the belt to him at WMXX. But now, they are extending the feud with JBL...

I didn't read anything written in this thread so I don't care if I am repeating what somebody has already said but was I the only one that thought Eddie overdone the head cutting shit just a bit too much ?

I would agree that the head thing was overdone, and it wouldn't surprise me if he got put on a drip after the match.
Nevertheless, Eddie carried that match, and deserves the credit for it.
Let's face it - it could have been as much fun as getting needles stuck under your fingernails. But it wasn't, thanks to Mr Guerrero.

Didn't watch the PPV but I'm glad that Eddie was able to get a lot out of JBL. From what I hear Eddie carried that big piece of shit to decent match. With a brutal finish.

Eddie Guerrero is the most talented member on the roster IMO, and I am glad that he is champ. I just wish he had some worthy opponents to go up against

But he definately delivered last night (although I'll admit Bradshaw performed better than we're used to seeing him) Eddie Guerrero is the ****ing man. And the blade job was wicked too. I'm glad he's ok!

We all know Eddie can carry a cup of pudding to a match, and last night he did so to Bradshaw! Eddie is truly da man. Best wrestler on SmackDOWN! now that Angle is out, for sure, and perhaps even better than Benoit because Eddie can wrestle a variety of styles.

nice pics. I downloaded the match from NODQ and it was kinda blurry. Sick shit.

Oh Goldbird:

I have never once doubted his ability and for once, WWE did it right by giving the belt to him at WMXX. But now, they are extending the feud with JBL...

He won the belt at the Pay-Per-View before WMXX, not at XX
