Who best influenced WWE to run with "Attitude"? Paul Heyman, Eric Bischoff or even Vince Russo?
Paul Heyman, Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo claim to be the ones responsible for WWE picking up on the "Attitude" concept
Paul Heyman says in The Rise and Fall of ECW that he started the "Attitude" with his hardcore style, being ahead of it's time. Eric Bischoff says he came up with it when he started Nitro and nWo, ultimately causing WWE to use it and run with it Vince Russo could even be considered in the mix here. He wrote alot of stuff for Shawn Michaels, X-Pac, HHH, Goldust, suggested they put Shane on TV. He thought Austin 3:16 would be huge, at a time when Vince didn't think it would work and catch on. He came up with RAW Magazine, a more realistic inside look into WWE compared to it's sister magazine, WWF Magazine. He says Vince McMahon took all the credit, never giving him any credit for anything I know it's a combination of everything, but who do you think influenced it the most? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Paul Heyman is responsible for bringing it to an American audience, but a lot of what he was doing he "borrowed" from various feds in Japan.

Paul Heyman because he created Stone Cold Steve Austin in ECW by introducing him to the sandman. He took a WWF jobber going by the name Leif Cassidy and gave him a mannquin head to play with making Al Snow.
WWF even tried to make Heyman make a star out of Brakkus. Paul Heyman is mad scientist but he isn't a miracle worker. |

Probably give Heyman the majority of the credit, he introduced alot of the stuff to western audiences, but Bischoff and Vince Mcmahon put it on tv for a large audience. I dont give Russo any credit for it all, he might have put ideas to Vince but for every good one im sure there was a hundred shit ones, and ultimately it was Mcmahons call as to what got pushed.
