Am I the only one here who is confused? What happened to Barrett? All of a sudden and with no explanation whatsoever he's out of the picture?!? And why didn't Punk hit Cena with the chair?

Only thing can think of is this is all a way to get Barrett on Smackdown for a Mania fued with Taker. I love Punk as the leader of Nexus though.

It's quite obvious it's Punk.

Otunga made it sound like he was the new leader to throw the crowd off and make Punk joining be more of a big deal. Also, it would be absolutely stupid for Punk to join Nexus and take orders from Otunga.

Love this move. This can be what the SES never got to be.

I do wonder about Barrett. Logic says he returns as a face who's learned his lesson, but he works SO well as a heel.

Hope they don't jettison those badass shirts already, since Barrett's face is plastered on them.

I think Punk can breathe new life into Nexus.

That said, I still don't take the Nexus seriously. It was the same fucking attack that has happened for a year. I just can't after all the shit that's happened take them seriously. For them to regain face here, they need to absolutely destroy Cena at Mania and send him packing for months. If Punk/Nexus doesn't come out on top, then my fears will be founded and Nexus will still be a failure.

This is the way this feud makes it to WrestleMania. Punk can fully heal while Nexus does his bidding. Currently, RAW is putting a lot of effort into a group while the undercard is dying. SmackDown has plenty of guys on the rise like Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, and Kofi Kingston to prop up their midcard, while on RAW, Daniel Bryan has nobody who can be seen as a threat.
