Nothing happens until it's on tv. Though I don't really see the point in debuting a guy of Sting's level on free tv. What are they trying to steal TNA's gimmick?

So, I hope it's just the Undertaker back again. If Sting comes it should be as a surprise in the Elimination Chamber ppv.

who pays for a PPV? I mean I like WWE and all, but I would never watch a PPV unless it's WrestleMania

I'd rather have him debuted on RAW. Goldberg debuted on RAW. Bischoff debuted on RAW. Ric Flair made his return on RAW (in 2001). Don't see this any different with Sting

Yeah but if you've got the biggest star in the history of your industry that has never worked for you under contract why aren't you hyping him? Why give us ambiguous videos that are exactly like the ones that you use time and time again for Undertaker? Why not do something different for - arguably - the biggest free-agent signing you could possibly ever make?

If your sole basis for thinking it's not Sting is that this date isn't set for a PPV then I'm inclined to agree with The Naitch's last post.

IF it was Sting, of course you do it on Raw so that the most people see it.

2) These videos are almost exactly the same as the dozen or so "Undertaker is coming back" videos we've seen for two decades. Which ties into:

4) Why would you only give yourself six weeks to hype the biggest WM dream match in almost a decade?

Btw, if it IS Sting, I will happily admit I'm wrong and will mark out like a 12-year-old during a Cena promo.

But other than "OMG I hope it's Sting," and Ryan Clark-level "reporting" I've not seen anything that makes me think it's Sting.

No actual facts here, this is all speculation from you using your internet wrestling knowledge and some of that isn't accurate. Nobody outside of WWE (and plenty inside won't know either) knows for sure what is going on and that is just about the only fact about the whole schtick.

There are so many things that it can mean. Hell! Who knows, it could even be a new wrestler debuting that night and not Sting, Undertaker or Awesome Kong.

It's just judging it from one view is a litte pre-mature to come to a solid conlusion. I'm not trying to say you're wrong but don't get your hopes up so high because that's when they'll be torn down when it's not what you expected.

We can't say either way whether it will be Sting or not until the night (or further promos reveal more) so I wish people would stop stating that it is/isn't him without a doubt in their mind.

The evidence for and against it being him is flimsy conjecture at best. We've gotten to the point where we're just going back and forth with the same "evidence", that I for one hope something happens soon just to give us something new to talk about.

Dunno, I think that's a bit too hopeful. This basically regarding Sting.
It'd be cool if it was Tyler Black as a silent killer gimmick would suit him well as he's not fantastic on the mic. However when you said he wasn't all that big was thought "Yeah he is" then I looked up his height and he's 6'2". I was shocked I was sure the guy was 6'4" and I've seen him live literally walking past me (6'2") at an ROH show and I thought he was taller... Oh well.

You're definitly right Tyler has a serious Jeff Hardy thing going for him if the WWE pursues it. However he also could be pushed with some sort of lame Twilight gimmick... which, unfortunatly, I also think fits him.
