Bruins have held there own...all credit due.

I said at the beginning of the playoffs, no team worried me more than the Bruins. Thomas is amazing, he's a Roy, he's a Hasek.

He can win, even when the rest of the team is outmatched, outclassed, and out played.

I am actually a huge Thomas fan. He didn't make it big until after he was over 30. It's not technical, it's not pretty...but it works.

If...and thats a big IF the Bruins win, its only because of Thomas(no disrespect to Rask, because he is a fine goalie who deserves a #1 chance...) Bruins are a good team, with a great goalie.

Both teams have had successful years, both teams have hungry fans and hungrier teams that deserve to raise the best trophy in all of sports...

Yes the Bruins are a good team with a great goalie. I don't understand why you don't think I realize this.

Their teeth were knocked out due to hockey, it's part of the game. Bergeron's finger was bitten. And he continued to play so I don't see the relevance but whatever.

People put far too much emphasis on the biting yes. The same people who cheered for Horton's ECF game 7 winner were the first to cry foul that Burrows was playing. I don't care about the biting anymore. I think the way Vancouver was dicking around about it was stupid but that was game 2.

I actually don't know why you brought it up. Maybe Bergeron overreacted but it was a legitimate occurrence as opposed to Sedin pretending to get hit in the face to draw a penalty which you equated it to. I don't think they're at all comparable.

Are you trying to say Boston has never over exaggerated a particular play?

It's called embellishing.

I don;t necessarily agree with it, but it is what it is is. It is a part of hockey. It goes both ways, and if a player does it it too often, they get branded....you know what happened to the boy who cried wolf too often.

However this is the finals. Players will do whatever they can...WHATEVER they can, in order to gain an edge. It's not just Sedin, Its not just the Nucks. It's both teams. You'd be a fool to think otherwise.

Again, I am not condoning it, I merely stating the facts.

The finals is not just about skill...it is about comprehension.

Whoever wins this series played the game better. Simple as that

No, I'm not at all saying that. Thomas had quite the dive in game 1 to draw a penalty, we're guilty too. I think it's just a bit embarrassing that he was so blatant about it because there's a difference between a stick grazing you/reacting like it was a sledgehammer and not even being touched in the head/acting like you were shanked across the eye. A little realism maybe?

Just came across an interesting stat. The Bruins are the third team to score eight goals in a game in the SCF. The other two teams were the '91 Pens & the '96 Aves.

All those stats don;t mean shit, any team...every team can be the exception.

The dives...emmbarassing, yes

unneeded...absofuckinlutley. They drive me nuts...no matter what the team. Sedin, Thomas in this series...whoever else the previous series, and some new guys in game 4. Like it or not, it's part of the game. I will admit its part of the (cheap) game the Nucks are better at.

Take it out of the game, I wont complain. Nucks are better than that, they are elite without having to resort to that.

I was against Shawn Thornton starting over Tyler Seguin at first, but I forgot that he's the vocal leader of the Bruins and his presence on the ice sparked some more life into the team. I haven't seen the Bruins get into a goalie's head that badly in a long time, and this was Roberto Luongo.

Horton has a severe concussion and is done for the season to no one's surprise. Hopefully it doesn't affect him next year, don't want another Savard.

Vigneault asked Luongo is he wanted out of the game...Lou denied.

Only game 4 will till if the B's are actually in his head. I think we're going to see Lou's best game of the year tomorrow.

4 games was really excessive. Eager's hit on Sedin was way way worse and he got nothing. I think the call on the ice was the right call and if you feel the need to suspend no more than one game. I'd say that if the roles were reversed. 4 was too much.

The league outright said that the severity of the hit was a big reason for the suspension. If that's true, why didn't Chara get anything for his hit on that Montreal guy? Both were hockey plays, neither guy went out of his way to hurt anybody, but this is 4 games?Stupid. My problem is the lack of consistency by the league.

The only reason Mike Murphy was handling this instead of Colin Campbell is because of Gregory Campbell.

If I remember right, Brendan Shanahan is taking over next year, and it may even be by committee instead of 1 person deciding on suspensions.

Excellent game from the Bruins tonight. This is a great position to be in going into game 5, hopefully we can steal that one and come back to Boston with three wins.

And yes, I thought Marchand's actions at the end of the game were pretty bush league but I couldn't help but laugh at Ehrhoff being completely fine with being the second man in but wanting no part of Darth Quaider. Turtled like a motherfucker.
