the art of the work
Up untilled the 80s pro wrestling by and large was thought to be legitimete competition. In the 90s they circumvented this by becoming brash and on the edge. Making what happened out if the ring just as important as what went on on the inside. They milked this for ten years furthering themselves from wrestling, and the fans slowly bit surely frittered away as well.

Ecw inspired the attitude era. Ring of honor seems to be inspiring the new one.
Wwe has ventured to a third area of working the jaded smarka by entering social media, feeding us red herrings and half truths through twitter. Its really Amazing to see them spin what gets leaked to their advantage. My main question is.... what took em so long?
