Too soon to really compared Cody's brief career to Dusty's entire career. Cody has a good chance of having the greater WWE career than his dad had with the company although a lot of that was due to Vince not liking stars made from his competitors during the 1980s and 1990s.

I barely saw much of Dusty's career since I was just a WWF watcher as a kid but he was better at promos than Cody right now. I do like Cody's dashing/undashing gimmick a lot more than what Dusty had for gimmicks.

Don't know why he is rated as highly as he is. I get that he's great and I get why, but I don't see that he is THAT great. Cody has gone from a guy so bland and soulless that he earned the nickname CAWdy, survived through a gimmick far worse than polka dots (GROOMING TIPS? SRLSLY?) and is now somebody that everybody wants to watch. He has at least as much charisma as his father, far superior technical skill, and is on his way to being as over as Dusty ever was, without having to have the spotlight reflected on him from the scrotums of the likes of Flair and Race.
