Triple H vs. Undertaker - The Better Match?
So, with WrestleMania 28 in the books, the Hell in a Cell match, in my opinion, delivered and was the far superior match compared to last year's Triple H vs. Undertaker match.
This thread is to discuss which the better match was, WrestleMania 27 or WrestleMania 28's Triple H vs Undertaker match. ![]() |

28: HIAC. Best WWE match of the year. Nothing will top this.

WM 28.
All three were great matches but felt the pacing this year was a lot better than last year. Last year's match started strong with them going all out but also meant the middle of the match had a lot of downtime for them to recover. This year's match was a lot longer and a bit slower but better paced. Ending-wise, both were great. |

Clearly the second one for me, was perfect, even Michaels was brilliant.

This year's was phenomenal, but so was last year's. Hard to really go wrong with either, but I think last year's was better. I actually thought Michaels did a tremendous job in this match. He does the "special guest ref" role pretty much perfectly, doesn't involve himself TOO much, but he's not invisible to the point where it's like "what's the point?". I loved this year's match (best on the card imo) but last year's was just better.

Wrestlemania 28 HIAC for me. I really liked the WM 17 match and last year's match was my match of the year, but the HIAC was a hell of a match and edged out last year's.

Definetly 28 I thought 27 was the worst of the three.

All of them are fantastic, though the last two stand above as two of the best of all time at Wrestlemania. I'd have to say because of HBK's fantastic involvement this year, the drama and brutality that this year's stands at the best for me. Loved it.

If I, indeed, do not get to see my hero in action ever again...I am glad that my final memory will be that epic encounter known as "The End of an Era - Hell in a Cell".

This year's match was fantastic. I did not care for last year's match. The one at 17 I have absolutely no memory of because I haven't watched it probably since it aired. I remember enjoying it, but can't imagine I enjoyed it better than this year's.

X-7 will get overlooked but I think I liked it more than last years at least.

I voted for x-7 since I got to call you an "asshole" in my answer.

28.
Because 28 cashed in on the backstories from 25, 26, and 27. The match itself would have meant nothing other than two old school guys beating the shit out of each other. But the story, and the storytelling, epic. Just when I'm about sick of the "streak" thing and Taker fighting the same guys over and over again, he steals match of the night. Props to all three involved. I still think Wrestlemania 25 was incredibly epic, and the only reason this is all playing out so nicely is because Taker and Michaels put on the match of the decade, and one of the greatest matches of all time. |

Wrestlemania 17. Everything on that card was better than either 27 or 28

I didn't watch many (if any) episodes of RAW leading up to WM28 which is probably why I am voting for WM27

I voted 28 based on word of mouth because Raw on Monday was the first wrestling I've watched in quite some time...

I thought all 3 matches were great. It was a progression of sorts.
