Hulkamania's Soap Box - Edition 1
***The crowd boo's as Hulkamania steps up onto the Soap Box***
"Ahem" Whats all this fuss about Mark Jindrak guys? Come on now. Seriously, come on. Come on. When the guy was on RAW, everyone talked about him "hopping aboard Evolution!!!!!!!" No. Evolutions way to good of a stable to end up being as bad as the last days of NWO. Now he's on Smackdown, and i've been hearing the buzz about giving the guy some precious TV time. Again, no. He hasn't earned it. I'd rather see the Bashams having a 30 minute match with two Malaysian midgets than see people jobbing to Jindrak, and believe me, they'd have people jobbing to him. Let these wrestlers keep their dignity and send the man back to OVW.....forever. A SIDE EFFECT Matt Hardy + millions of ex-Hardy Boy smarks = Matt Hardy should be an Intercontinental Title Contender!!!!!! Now lets think about this. Triple H, The Rock, Jericho, Angle, and other big names have held this title as a stepping stone, and what i'm hearing is that the man who spent a month losing weight so he could become "Cruiserweight Champion" should be on the list? Or was I supposed to forget about that? Hell, i'm still trying to forget about Jeff Hardy having the belt! And look what happened to him. In conclusion, heres todays Matt Fact: "Matt Hardy Version 1 needs a couple more upgrades before he can break out of the tag team stigma!!!!!" Christian is on his way to being a threat to the World Heavyweight Title. On his way. As in the first foot of a five year(or hopefully longer) journey. I know we need new faces to ascend the ranks, but Christian isn't ready, no matter how many people say he is. Its time to put away this silly bullshit as long as Jericho, Kane, HHH, Michaels, Benoit and Edge near the top of the ladder. In my opinion, Christian even being in a main event match at a PPV right now would be similiar to our JBL worries. And we don't need that on 2 shows, do we? Let me end by saying that Chris Benoit was the Rabid Wolverine. Now, he's becoming the cute and loveable Wolverine. Stop it. STOP IT. Chris Benoit is known for his ruthless, or should I say, "Toothless" Aggression. He needs to be having the crossface on Triple H for five or ten minutes with a million referees trying to pull him off. He needs to be devouring busloads of small children. Austin pulled off a face who didn't take shit, only dealt it, and Chris Benoit can remain his old, cocky character who can destroy anything. Because i'll tell you this: that crazy look in his eyes is going. And his character goes with it. NOt every face needs to give hugs and eat lucky charms for breakfast. Being a good guy isn't always part of the face formula. ***Climbs off soapbox as crowd pours over the railing, throwing debris at the fleeing wise man*** Last edited by Favre4Ever; 06-08-2004 at 12:20 AM. |

Jindrak is big, so he'll always get a chance as long as Vince is running the WWE. Do I think he's a star in the making? Not really, but Teddy Long is really funny and makes at least one segment of Velocity worth watching.
Matt Hardy was one of the most over guys there for a while when he was on SD. However the WWE had to bury him because he said some naughty things, so thats that. He has all the tools to be a top guy, but I dont think he ever will be. Christian's push has been massively derailed by his injury. Its sad that his fued with Jericho has ended up with him on the injured reserve list and out of everyone's minds, and Jerihco have become an even bigger joke than he was before. The WWE probably wants Benoit to smile a lot. The thing about Benoit is that all they really want for him is to be a strong secondary champion, and then when HHH beats him clean with the Pedigree at Summerslam he can go back to his rightful spot in mid card matches....oh wait he's already there. |

CyNick, did you listen to BTR this week and hear about the potential Eddie vs Jindrack for the title at Summerslam. I mean, who the hell even throws an idea out like that?

The point is I dont recall him specifically syaing "the plan for Summerslam is to go with Jindrak against Eddie". But rumours like this tend to have a life of their own, and eventually everyone grabs ahold of it and reports it. Like I said, who knows, that could be the plan (I mean Bradshaw and Holly got title shots, why not Jindrak?), but I haven't seen any Jindrak-Eddie matches booked on house shows, so I dont think thats the plan as of now. |
