What are your thought on this (Randy Savage TNA)

http://wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2011.../randy-savage/

Those are more or less Randy Savage's only appearances in TNA and under that is an interview explaining why that is. What do you think about his choices and actions?

I was surprised after four years no sight of him (two, if you count the Spider-Man movie).

Savage was in GREAT shape in the 2002 Spider-Man movie. It's a damn shame Vince screwed the fans over and didn't give Randy just ONE final run in the WWE. He brought back Hogan, Flair and Piper. Why not Macho? 2002-2004 was when a lot of older WWE stars were getting comebacks as a matter a fact, so why Macho Man was not included is beyond me.

I would have *loved* to have seen him in the mid-2000's WWE and come out on Raw and Smackdown with that classic "Macho Man" theme and mix in up with guys like Triple H, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Kane, The Undertaker, etc. And I would have loved to have seen him go at it with Hogan, DDP, Piper, Goldberg, Steiner and Flair again. And then end it all with writing his bio, a documentary about his career and then finally him going into the HOF. Could have all been epic.

Maybe that rumor about Macho doing the bosses's daughter is true?

His look at the time reminded me of a tattoo-less Rob Zombie, which may have been an idea to show the kids that he was changing with the times. I wondered where Steph Bellars and those chains he wore on his rap album cover went to, but apparently Macho was trying different images to find himself in the post-2000 era -- a far fry from the creative control security of working with Hogan and the nWo.

To wit, Randy may have dwelt on how WCW booked him against Rodman and dropped him from storylines. Although definitely not representative of Macho's star power, that was most salient to him due to the recent timing. And while I'm sure Jeff Jarrett would have given Savage considerable creative control, Macho apparently was experiencing a self-confidence crisis -- everyone but himself believed in him!

I choose to remember Macho Man in his prime. Some of his WCW career until 1998-1999 ish.

Not really sure why he wanted to win the world title. I respect the fact that he didn't want fans to "see him like that" more wrestlers should think about that before subjecting themselves to matches and/or angles that are beneath them at the end of their career. Yes i'm talking to you Ric Flair.
