IYO is the rock the last hope for
getting rid of that hideous WWE title belt? i was excited when punk claimed the first thing he was going to do was get rid of the ugly thing and never happened. so is the rock our last shot at getting it replaced?

my thought is rock is a shoe in to beat punk for the belt at RR and cena to win the rumble setting up cena to win the title at wm. but with Cena being the one who started that abortion of a custom belt might the rock carry a new one for a couple months? her e is hoping?

You are SORELY mistaken. Cena is by FAR the biggest draw in the company. If that weren't the case than why hasn't Punk headlined more ppv's during his title reign than Cena?

Guys, it's not the belt that is hurting the ratings. It's the belt strap. They need to change the color of the strap. A nice yellow strap would be better and it matches Punk's shirt. This is the WWE not some nickel and dime, or for you Brits; not a 5p and 10p, backyard trampoline bouncy bouncy fed. No, this is serious business. Change the strap! Change the strap!

It'll change over time, just as most belts do, but the title isn't what's important anymore anyway now is it.

As Schomey stated it is way better than the lolpennytagteam belts. It's like they took some giant pennies and put them through those hand-crank souvenir machines you find in various tourist traps / amusement parks.

Probably won't see a new belt until the WWE starts a new era considering there has been rumors of a new belt ever since Miz was the champion a few years ago.

If Rock were to bring out a new belt, more likely it would just be the long lost Brahma Bull belt than an actual new belt.
