With the revamping of the shooting style, the new production quality, and new new channel, this season should be pretty good

Also, rousey amd tate hate each other

at the press tour people were saying that tate comes off looking a lot better in the heated exchanges but ronda has said all she cared about was coaching so shes let tate get into her head when it came to the beef

I think this will be the best in a long time. Not necessarily because of the talent that comes out of it, but because of the coaches and potential drama of men and women living together.

A few thoughts

-meisha will be much more likable than ronda, which is good imo

-the super nerdy chick (who took out the super hot chick) is hilarious

-the black dude is a beast

-the team alphamale guy looks like savior

-I wish the two tall chciks had ended up on different teams

Dunno about everyone else but I've actually enjoyed the Woman's fights more then the Men's. Those last 2 Female fights were pretty great especially the last one.

Juliana is a fucking psychopath. That chick is a fucking killer with man strength. She is still alittle excitable and gets sloppy with her striking but I believe with more technique, she will be a def force in the womens 135 division.

I was pulling for Davey but Holsworth was my favorite to win the show. His striking looked really good for a BJJ guy, prolly because of Bang Ludwig, and his grappling is world class. He, will also be a force in the UFC. He also looks like he might be able to make 125.

He was perfectly fine until the ref pointed out it was an illegal knee, then all of a sudden he was öh woe is me" haha. I could be wrong though.

Akira Corassani has silenced any doubts that he was truly unable to continue after eating an illegal knee on Saturday at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale.

Corassani (12-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC), whose bout with fellow featherweight Maximo Blanco (9-5-1 MMA, 1-2 UFC) ended in just 25 seconds because of the illegal knee to a downed opponent, earned a dubious win via disqualification.

Although the sequence resulted in a smattering of boos at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center, Corassani posted proof of the damage earlier today.

According to Corassani (via Instagram):

Broke my nose in 5 places which was not as bad as the concussion from the knee. The dizziness got worse gradually and I was rocked as hell. Truthfully I dont remember much but this was not the way I wanted to win, I was more than ready for this fight and due to a stupid move the fight was ruined. Thanks for all your support and I’ll be back soon!
In the FOX Sports 1-televised bout, Blanco wasted little time attacking his opponent, putting him on his back and unloading strikes as Corassani attempted to get to his feet. But with Corassani still on one knee and with his hand posted on the mat, Blanco nailed him with a hard knee before he could rise to a standing position. Deemed an intentional blow, the bout was declared a disqualification rather than a no-contest.

In a post-fight interview, Corassani referenced Blanco’s past in-cage indiscretions. Blanco, meanwhile, seemed oblivious to the issue and said, “I felt the knee was OK.”

Corassani, who now has a three-fight UFC winning streak, didn’t reveal an expected time table for his return.

It was at least "sloppy entertaining". I was never bored watching the first few UFC's. That's was a chore to watch Saturday.

That stoppage in the chick fight was absolute horse shit. I realize she was getting beat, but the ref let her take a beating for a minute and 30 seconds. And the last 10 seconds of punches were not even getting through. The woman was defending herself the entire time. If you're gonna stop it, stop it with one minute to go. You can't let that girl take the beating and then stop it with one second to go.

That's probably it for me with this sport. I know thats ridiculous, but that was deplorable. The refs are horrible and im not even sure some of these outcomes are not fixed.
