Has Hull Signed With Dallas?
Heres what it said on the ESPN Stars Message Board.....
It's "Golden" In Dallas!! Posted by: A_Bit_Tipsy (4 Msgs) 7:50AM PDT, Jul 2, 2004 Brett Hull aka "GOLDEN BRETT" has signed a 2-year deal with the Dallas Stars today. Offical word should be up by end of day. According to this radio station i was listening to in detroit. That was 3 days ago but also..Here a poster that lives in Canada that works for a Newspaper up there... "Actually my friend Glenn Weis, who reports for the Dallas Morning Sun or whatever that paper is called, told me that in fact the Stars were looking at a deal including Hull and an unnamed player. I will be reporting that in the Globe and Mail tomorrow morning." This better not be some sick joke is all I gotta say about it

Dallas has a horrible coaching situation... not so much the coach as the team isn't a "team"

I dunno, I think without Datsyuk Hull's production will be way down. Dallas doesn't really have any top playmakers and Hull is a PURE finisher (Guerin too). Modano may be in a decline now too.

Thats another thing...Hull and Modano always got along. Heck this whole summer here in Dallas when they see Modano, Hull is right next to him.
Hull lives here. Hull's family is here. Hull owns a Junior team here. Everybody here loves him. We'll see I guess |

I heard Dallas is where he wants to be. Dallas is a strange team right know. They could do so well, but distractions seem to cause them to loose their focus.
