Kane vs Batista *RAW Spoiler*
I was actually thoroughly interested in seeing this match and was pissed off when it ended in interference. Everybody in the RAW thread made it sound like it was the anti-christ of wrestling though....Internet kinda ruins some matches IMO.

Thoughts

Seeing two hosses go at it isn't very fun. The main point of a hoss is to dominate a smaller competitor who is supposed to be fighting 'against the odds'. He does many moves that show off his strength, such as military presses, throwing guys off when kicking out of a cover, etc. The effectiveness of these moves is lessened when the guys are both really big. Seeing as how most hosses are pretty damn slow as well, this makes the match even more boring. I wasn't looking forward to this match very much, or any other hoss match in the recent past.

I think the match was good for 3 minuites... When it started I was thinking it was going to be another Brock/Goldberg, but it was way better than that... If Brock and Goldberg ever had another match, WWE (Or whoever is hosting it) better not fuck it up like at WrestleMania... That was one of the "Dream Matches" and it was built up well, but excuted EXTREMELY bad... I thought Brock/Goldberg had potential...

Anyway, what Im getting at, is Kane/Batista could be a good match if done correctly... (I never saw the Armageddon one, so I dunno how a real match would go with them)

Some people like the big dudes wrestling each other. I prefer guys the size of Benoit, Angle and Eddie, but from a visual stadpoint seeing two huge dudes slug it out can be pretty cool. But if a match is bad, its bad, so you can only go so far with pushing big dudes.

Batista-Kane was what it was, there's no point of jobbing either guy at this point. Now the fans got a little taste, and I'm sure somewhere down the road they'll be able to get a PPV match out of the two of them.

i actually have their first match from OVW on my pc. Kane vs Leviathan was suprisingly a very solid match. so a future match would be equalliy as good

Brock/Goldberg did have potential, but let's put it to you this way. Goldberg didn't give his all because he was leaving and soon after we found out it was the same way with Lesnar. I knew Goldy wasn't going to do jack shit but Lesnar suprised me with how crappy he executed the match and then I was shocked about the NFL announcement. His loss though because I don't really see him being picked up by any team in the NFL.

The match really didn't interest me.

Kane's a decent worker for a big man, But Batista's just kind of...There.

Even worse, when you put two "monsters" up against each other, someone becomes de-monstrated (To borrow from Daffy Duck).
