A Pointless Game
If you could have one wrestler take you under their wing and show you the ropes not onlyin the ring but backstage and everything else on your way to being a superstar...who would it be and why?

At the moment, probably Chris Jericho. I idolize Shawn Michaels as an in-ring performer, but I don't agree with the way he conducts himself off-camera, so I wouldn't want to learn the ropes from him.
Jericho is a fantastic performer, plus he seems to be free of a lot of the emotional baggage that some of the other top guys have. |

If he was full time, The Rock.
Currently, as much as I hate to say it, Triple H, hes done great things for Ortons career. |

I'd say Kane. Anyone who has been around as long as he has, and put up with the amount of crap he has, can almost certainly teach you something about career longevity.

I'd probably go with Benoit |

Since I'd actually like to be a decent wrestler, I'd say Bret Hart, but I guess since being a stand up guy doesn't get you anywhere, I'll say Hunter Hearst Hold-down.

I would have to go with either HHH or Flair. They are both very knowledgeable in the ring, and both have had great matches throughout their lifetime. Hunter has backstage pull because of his wife, but I think that Flair got his respect backstage through leading by example and by putting his heart into the business. They are both naturals on the mic and can basically teach you anything about the entire business.

I dunno why I'm saying this, but when I saw the question the first name that came to my head was "Steven Richards." He's been in the business for years, he's a solid wrestler, and to me he just seems like he would make an excellent teacher.

Regardless of Scott Levy's checkered past, he's a master of ring psychology. I've heard guys in the business say that he's got one of the most brilliant minds in the business. So what if he snorted some coke hell that was his choice. That doesn't change the fact that he would be an awesome teacher. |

I'll be different and say either Charlie Haas or Shelton Benjamin - I've met them both before and they REALLY know their stuff. They could point out little mistakes which everybody on here wouldn't notice and think of better ways of performing a move.
