No, but I will amend the rules as a result.

LK, no more milestone threads in the wrestling forum, but I'll leave this open for now. And next to no one in casual will give a shit over a 500 post milestone. Some people can get that in a single day, let alone 2 months.

Yeah, but in casual their posts are like two words long. Here in wrestling I've often written long thoughtout posts. Doing milestone threads really is crap, though... Normally when I hit a milestone (and if I remember it) I'll add it as a footnote to a good post that everyone will notice. Like if I were to tell off some newbie turd that he's a dumbass in a clever, inventive way, I'd note on the bottom, "Oh yeah...600" or something to that extent.

okay I have changed my first post since I realised that my original post was more worthy of the Casual Forum so now I have posted my top five favourite matches from 2000 to the present day.

Tell that to jindrak.

Anyway, I amended the rules again. No milestomes unless they are wrestling-related AND at least 1000 posts.

I was so close funky... ever so close

Anyway:

1: Triple H v. Steve Austin *3 Stages Of Hell Match* No Way Out 2001
2: Shawn Michaels v. Chris Jericho *WrestleMania XIX*
3: Benoit v. Angle v. Jericho *3-Way 2xFall/2xTitle Match* WrestleMania 2000
4: HHH v. HBK v. Benoit *3-Way World Heavyweight Title Match* WrestleMania XX
5: Lesnar v. Angle *Ironman Match* SmackDown! WWE Championship Match

Pointless Notes:

NWO 2001 IMO is Triple H's greatest match. Kinda shit ending, but it was just fucking awesome.

From 2000 onwards

5) Dudley/E&C/Hardy's TLC WM-2000: Never seen anything like that. Couldn't believe what I saw!

4) Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar WM-19: One of the best matches I've seen of all-time from a technical standpoint. I still can't believe Angle wrestled with a broken neck! I can't believe Lesnar survived the botched shooting star press.

3) Triple H vs Shawn Michaels summerslam 2002: The return of Shawn Michaels. HBK didn't disappoint, and put on a 5 star performance. The emotion going into this match was amazing....and I got caught up in it.

2) The Rock vs. Stone Cold WM-17: Just amazing to see that 90% of the crowd was cheering Austin. The match was in Texas, but still. The Rock got booed out of the building anytime he got in ANY offense for the first 5 minutes. The fans still cheered loudly when Austin made the heel turn. Crowd was also amazing.

1) The Rock vs. Hogan WM-18: Don't care what anyone says, but the atmosphere alone made this match my favorite. The crowd was unreal. This is EXACTLY why I'm a wrestling fan. It was also completely unreal to see Hogan turn face during the match. When Hogan hit the leg drop, I literally jumped 10 feet in the air.
