DVD Burner Help

A friend of mine is having trouble so I thought I'd post for her.

Her brother has a DVD+RW and his works but hers is a DVD-RW, and the word Firmware is mixed in. Any tips?

You need the right media for the drive as well.

What brand and model?

And she is using DVD-R media with hers? not +R?

Looking on the net her DVD drive is a DVD+R not -R

Try some +R Media
