Jimmy Eat World - Futures
For all the theiving little pirates out there (myself included) an advanced copy of Jimmy Eat World - Futures is now available. Has anybody else heard it yet? Thoughts?

First off I have to say it isn't what I really expected. That's not a complaint at all, it just surprised me. Bleed American was a little bit more upbeat and I guess "harder" than their previous albums. I assumed the new one would follow more in that direction, however it seems to have gone back slightly to their previous style. I like either style just fine, so it's not a disappointment, just a surprise. It seems to be a pretty good album, I don't have a problem listening to it all the way though. My only complaint is that it seems to have a little too much of the same style, the songs seem to blend together a bit about 3/4 of the way through the album. I'd give it a 3/5.

A lot of people are describing it as Bleed American meets Clarity. It sounds much more like Clarity to me, just not as good. That's probably just because I haven't listened to this one as much yet.

It's one of the ones that I'll actually pay for when it comes out. I've been anticipating it for a while and couldn't pass up the chance to hear it asap.

i've only listened to it a couple of times, but i don't think it's better than bleed american in the slightest..

Bleed American is terrible, kinda. Futures is way better, but not nearly as good as Clarity.

Did anyone get that Firestarter promo? It was just rehashed versions of old/rare songs. Damn, did I feel ripped off
