First Beniot now Jericho
Everyone noticed when they changed Beniots entrance to say Now Residing in....but did anyone notice how tonight with Jericho they said Born in Manhattan New York. Have they been doing this for a while and this was the first time I heard or was this new tonight?

They've been doing that stuff pretty much since the Mania IIRC. I remember it being wierd that they did it going into Backlash which was a show in Canada. Since then some guys have went back to be billed from Canada (like Edge) and to be honest I haven't noticed it for a while, but I did notcie they said "born in" tonight which I believe was the first time they've said that. But no, Jericho has been billed from Manhasset for a while now.

I think it has to do with the bizarro-world "Canadians are Evil" law that's been in effect since the Hart Foundation. Vince doesn't think the crowd will get behind a Canadian face, so he just alters their nationality. I guarantee when Benoit turns heel, he'll be a Canadian again.
