Funny little story involving ECW One Night Stand
Supposedly, former ECW ref Jim Molineaux had this to say about Vince trying to get Sabu for the ECW One Night Stand PPV:
"Dreamer and Nova were calling people about it while Vince was in the room in secret, and Dreamer called Sabu and said that Sandman was doing the show for $5,000. Sabu said "Well, Sabu will do the show for $25,000," to which McMahon put Sabu on "mute," and McMahon said "Tell Sabu to fuck Sabu." Haha, I got a laugh about that. Another note: WWE has set the prices for the ECW One Night Stand tickets...and they are high. Tickets are priced at $150, $200, or $400 Damn. ![]() |

Just watch it on tv, and laugh when there's an empty arena due to the high prices.

No doubt they will sell out...but I truly wonder how many of the fans in attendence will be ECW fans...or much are fans of WWE and think it's cool to have the outlaw image like ECW? Honestly I know I keep harping on it, but WWE putting on an ECW without Paul Heyman, whom they have easy acess to...it's just fucking dumb. Mark my words, Hardcore Homecoming will be the better show by miles not inches.

Last I heard, and this may be out dated, Paul Heyman has nothing too do with One Night Stand. He is sitting at home right now under WWE contract so he can't do anything with Hardcore Homecoming either. To my knowledge I think they are allowing Tommy Dreamer to do the booking for One Night Stand.

I hope they dont have a high price for the One Night Stand ppv....im gonna hate forking over 50 bucks to watch it on ppv.
But it will be worth it... Also if you cant go to the hardcore homecoming one...and if you dont have tickets then its too bad because theyre sold out...you can buy the dvd like a month later |

I believe I read that Heyman is being part of the process, I think as a consultant.
Also, really the only fans who will know when it goes on sale are internet wrestling fans, because they haven't announce anything on TV when it pertains to on sale dates or where it's being held. And for the most part, we're smarks... (At least I like to think that, then I go to WWE.com chat and cry...) |

![]() You know, I don't like McMahon, and I don't like the idea of an ECW PPV without Paul Heyman being involved [which may be a swerve], but I like the fact that he didn't just cave in to asshole Sabu. He isn't worth $25,000 a year - nevermind for just one show. I hope that Molineaux and Kehner and the others are all involved in the PPV as well. It would be nice, and would make sense - then again, its' WWE ![]() Will Joey Matthews be working the PPV, since he's on TV and all? I mean, if "Nunzio" is going to work it, and everyone knows that he's Little Guido - why not let Matthews in on the PPV too? Perhaps they'd be able to bribe Christian York out of retirement for a one shot with them. ![]() |

Heyman DID evidently turn in "scripts," but there's no evidence that they're gonna be used. |

![]() On a York related note, in addition to his work with TNA, he and Matthews worked a few dark matches with WWE, and he was doing well on the indy scene in Florida and Maryland and all that, and I believe even with XPW. That was back in 2003, and he's done nothing since then. I don't know why he quit, but it was like a sudden thing - as he was slated to do some work back in 2004, but was never heard from on it, and moved after that. ![]() |
