Wrestlers Popping out of nowhere

Anyone else find it hilarious when wrestlers pop out of nowhere?

I don't mean where you would expect them, like interview shows or surprise entrances during events.

Yesterday I was flipping channels and got interested in a movie, and all of a sudden, Shawn Michals pops up out of nowhere, and i start rofling, because i wasn't expecting him and his acting was terrible. Anyone know what movie I'm talking about... or has he done multiple movies?

Also, while flipping channels, I saw a commercial advertising a "girls gone wild" ish thing, called VIP Parties, and who should pop up for commentary... Christy Hemme! She must have been desperate to make money before being in the WWE, she looked different, but they had her name there "Christina Hemme"

anyone else experience this with other wrestlers?

Yeah I was flicking through the movie channels before and I was on this movie called Rollerball or something, and oh my god, it's Paul Heyman! I wasn't that surprised because I know he's a great actor, it was just cool to see him in a movie.

Hey while we are on the topic of Porn, I swear on my mother's grave that I was watching this porn over at my friends hows (It was a big 3-P Night...Popcorn, Pizza, and Porn) and while we were watching, and I am not kidding, Cactus Jack's WWE music began to play. I started laughing my ass of it was so fucking hilarious...

Anyway, Ready To Rumble, no it wasn't a good movie. By any means. I have been to Film School, I know what makes a good movie, and that was trash presented wrestling to make wrestling fans enjoy it.

I can't remember much of it to be honest, its been about 4 years since i saw it so I'm just guessing on whether it was good or not, but i don't doubt your judgement.

Nah, that was a bit rough, people like movies which aren't technically done correctly all the time. Hell, I own it on DVD to be honest, I think it's funny how that movie opened the pathway for...

I was 15 when i saw it, so i didn't really care how well technically it was done so thats probably why i remember enjoying it, didn't it have the triple cage match in it?

when i watched The Punisher for the first time i completely didn't know Kevin Nash was in it. Then suddenly he was there completely no-selling EVERY bit of offense the other guy got in and ignoring the fact he got stabbed in the shoulder and it was fantastic - just like watching him in WCW.

I came in at the end of a Blue Collar show on Comedy Central (I don't normally watch it, but you know) when the guys challenged anyone in the audience (they were dressed as wrestlers and I thought it was the TNA episode) and three big guys came up and ran them out. I could have sworn to high heaven that one of them was Big Van Vader, and I was right.

I remember switching through the channels way back when and found the Nash Bridges with Austin.

I remember when the Simpsons episode with Bret Hart first aired and I was surprised.

That's about all I can remember, but I'm sure I've come across a few more.

Vader on Boy Meets World was a funny one.

Some other random shit that has wrestlers that I noticed while channel flipping...Bam Bam in Major Pain, Kerry Von Erich in Problem Child, Roddy Piper in like half a dozen crappy C movies, Paul White in a few stuff (most noticably in Waterboy), Jesse Ventura in Batman & Robin...god there have been alot of cameos of wrestlers in crappy movies.

The only show I ever remember Shawn starring in was 'Pacific Blue', he was playing a villian, I think. I have to go look at my old tapes of WWE Superstars. I think they hyped his appearance on one of those tapes.

Boy Meets World was one of the funniest shows in the world. The best wrestling related epi was when Cory skipped out on Topanga's (sp?) 16th birthday party to be ringside with Vader. That one rocked!

when i watched The Punisher for the first time i completely didn't know Kevin Nash was in it. Then suddenly he was there completely no-selling EVERY bit of offense the other guy got in and ignoring the fact he got stabbed in the shoulder and it was fantastic - just like watching him in WCW.

I had the exact same experience.

Dont forget, Jesse Ventura was in the first Predator film, Undertaker was in Suburban Commando along with Hogan, Big Show in Jingle All the Way.

Edge had a very small part in one of the Highlander movies (I think 3). I was at my mates flat and her boyfriend was fast-forwarding the DVD and I thought I saw the word Edge at the bottom of the screen, but shrugged it off as maybe a film studio or something.

Anyways, later on, there is a flashback to like Robin Hood times, and Edge is there with a gang of what looked like highwaymen. Looked the part as well with his hair and all.

Edge was in Highlander: Endgame, whichever number that might be. Vader was in a few different Boy Meets World episodes. But I don't know of Kerry Von Erich anywhere in Problem Child, where's he supposed to be?
