Can anyone explain this to me....
Within the past few months WWE has hired Super Crazy, Psicosis, and Juvi, and are in talks with Spanky and Jamie Knoble (who might I add I still respect from his departure from WWE the first time, that's a man for you) so they hire 5 cruisers, and as of right now they are planning on brining in Brock Lesnar and (assumingly) putting him on SmackDown...They are doing another Diva Search, from that I am guessing we will get 4 or so new "divas". Now I wasn't a huge fan of the recent releases that WWE made, but that's a different story...
My question, recently Vince has been less then pleased with SmackDown as a whole, also looking alot at Batista, but if SmackDown's contract only lasts until October or whatever, and after that the show might be canceled, why are we signing a shit load of people to contracts, I'm not saying don't bring them in for a few shows, pay them per appearence, but to sign them to contracts is EXPENSIVE especially since they probably will have to make a shit load of cuts in the next few months. And let's face it Vince isn't really light weight's best friend, so why sign up a boat load of them if the entire division will probably be cut in 2 by the end of the year? Anyone care to explain anything that Vince has done recently? He is nothing more then one confussion after another. |

He probably does not want to cancel Smackdown. Figures if he can build it to be a good show he can get a good T.V. deal somewhere.

My guess is he figured he saved so much money by cutting all those guys a few weeks back that he could sign a couple of name talents. Same cost, better returns, hopefully.
And the WWE has to be figuring that someone will want to sign SD. Its a proven ratings getter, even if it doesn't generate optimal revenue. |

I don't think Vince would get rid of Smackdown completely.
If anything both shows would turn back into one before the was cut into 2. Also he brought in more cruiser weights so that he could have more, better in those matches, or so I think so anyways. |
