It's pretty hard to say since a decade is a long ass time but I definitely don't think its a "WTF" pick. Who would you choose? Shaq? He's kinda fallen off towards the end.

Kobe played in 5 out of the 10 NBA Finals series during the decade and while Shaq dominated during the first 3 it's not Kobe was just out acting like a role player. I don't think Kobe is the hands down choice but I really can't think of a better one off the top of my head.
