Gah. It's not a live album...
...If you retouch your work ad nauseum.
The new Queen + Paul Rodgers record is engineered and mastered via protools, adding to Brian May's notoriety for re-engineering "live" music. I mean, I understand the need to do it--They have a frontman who can't remember the lyrics to one of the best known songs in Rock (We Will Rock You)--But this is ridiculous on so many levels. Frank Black can do a studio record live to 2-track, but Brian May can't get licks he's played for 30 years right on one try?
