HBK's new book.

Given, I don't follow wrestling as much as most of you and during the whole "brett/hbk" thing I wasn't watching wrestling, so this may be old news to everyone.

But, in HBK's new book, he pins the whole thing not on himself or Vince... but HHH.

- In his new book, Shawn Michaels openly discusses the 1997 Survivor Series swerve on Bret Hart and how he helped Vince McMahon make the final decision for the main event match. "We (Triple H and Michaels) both felt that Vince was already thinking about a possible swerve, but he couldn't ask me to do that," Michaels wrote. "I needed to volunteer." Prior to Triple H and Michaels discussing their options, Triple H planted the seeds of discontent in McMahon's ear during a mid-week conference call prior to Survivor Series. "(Bret Hart) went behind your back and negotiated a deal with WCW...and now he is leaving to get even more money," Triple H told McMahon. "We have people leaving in the middle of the night and taking their belts and dropping them in trash cans on WCW. We can't afford for that to happen with the World Wrestling Federation Championship!" According to Michaels, McMahon was still hesitant to go through with the last-ditch effort of a mid-match swerve to get the belt off Hart as he wanted to discuss the matter with Hart prior to the PPV.
