loopydate Talks About His Job (EDIT: March 11 results posted)
Which is probably a pretty small number. Anyway, after yet another dead end on the job front, I'm considering re-trying something I tried about three years ago, and that's sending resumes out to local indies to see if they need help.
Granted, I'm nowhere near "wrestling shape," but I don't want to be a wrestler, anyway. I have two degrees in broadcasting and extensive experience as a camera operator and editor. Even some on-camera work, but that's not my goal (not that I'd turn it down). Anyway, I checked ObsessedWithWrestling.com's list of independent promotions and came up with the following for Michigan promotions: All World Wrestling League Blue Water Championship Wrestling Insane Wrestling Federation Plus, there is an AWA affiliate (UCW) and an NWA affiliate (Michigan, even though I don't see NWA:M listed on the NWA website). So, I'm asking Does anyone know anything about these promotions? More specifically, do you know if they're televised or looking to televise? And, heck, do you know any other Michigan indies? I tried about three years ago with the Michigan Marquee Wrestling Alliance, but they went under before I ever got a response. (See, if they'd just hired me, they'd still be around!) I have a little bit of knowledge of local indy workers, based primarily on MMWA. I've seen The Amazing N8 Mattson and Nate "Spyder" Webb, and guys like that in action. Plus, it's where I got my first exposure to Chris Sabin. So... Yeah. That's the purpose of this thread: Does anyone have any suggestions? Quote:
