WWE-opoly Game Board - My Gift to You
I honestly didn't know where to post this topic, because it's kind of wrestling-related but not quite. Mods, please move if necessary.
Anyway, I started working on a WWE/Monopoly board game the other day out of boredom. I started playing around with ideas on paper and finally just gave in and created the title deeds (back and front) and the game board thereafter. Within 2 days, I finished the game board and title deeds. Everything on the board is hand-drawn. (I mostly traced over real images, because I'm not that good.) Since I can't legally make any money off of it, I'll make it a belated Christmas gift to the forums. Anyone who wants to, can print it out at their local Office Max, Kinko's, or other printing place (20" x 20" with bleed) and mount it on foam board (cheap enough) with spray adhesive (cheap as well and easy to use, especially the ones that let you move the stuff around before it dries. Here is a preview of the board (click to enlarge): ![]() And right-click and download the .PDF file (223 KB) for the actual board: Game Board Here are the title deed sheets (four per page). They include the front and back. For example, print "deeds1_front.pdf" on the front of a sheet, and "deeds1_back.pdf" on the back. I've mirrored the cards so that the "Batista" card will have its respective Mortgage side on the back, and so forth. Download them here: Superstar "Contracts" (Title Deeds) (761 KB) Those can be printed on any home printer (8 1/2" x 11") on a glossy card stock or whatever is out there. I have the Chance (Backstage) and Community Chest (Main Event) cards all planned out, but not done yet in Illustrator, so those will come soon enough. I hope anybody that bothers to print these things out will enjoy playing my WWE version of the Monopoly game. I love wrestling, and Monopoly, and anybody who likes both of them should enjoy my variant of the game. You can even purchase an entire full set of Monopoly money for about $5 from sites like Amazon and AreYouGame.com. Just keep in mind that I doubled all the prices, rents, etc., just to be different, but the colors are exactly the same. (For those of you that know anything about printing and graphical design, I even tried to stick with Pantone [PMS] colors, and all blacks should be "pure" black [C: 40, M: 40, Y: 50, K: 100].) If there are any problems with embedded fonts, please let me know and I'll make the fonts available for download A.S.A.P. Enjoy! ![]() |
