Word to the Wise: Stay the fuck away from Batista

According to an article in the Houston Chronicle, renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews, who has done work with many wrestlers, and who WWE.com reported yesterday was going to be looking at Batista, suffered a heart attack over the weekend.

In an item on Houston Astros player Jeff Bagwell, it was mentioned that Andrews was supposed to check out Bagwell's surgically repaired shoulder, but may not be able to. Astros general manager Tim Purpura was quoted in the article, which came out today, as saying "Dr. Andrews suffered a heart attack over the weekend, so we don't know where his situation stands." Bagwell commented on his planned visit with Andrews by stating, "I don't know what's going on."

Obviously, there are other doctors in Andrews' practice in Birmingham, Alabama that could check out Batista's injured triceps should Andrews not be able to handle it personally at this time.
