PS2 mod help

I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to modify a PS2 to play Japanese titles, and then import Japanese games. Specifically, the Fire Pro Wrestling games and other Japanese wrestling titles. Also, if anyone has done this, is it worth it? Thanks.
