Top 5 sporting moments EVER

We should have a competition to see what are the 5 greatest sporting moments ever. Here's how I reckon we should do it:

1. Everybody lists their greatest moments ever (it doesn't have to be that you've witnessed, it can have happened in 1483 for all I care, but there must be proof that it happened) and then from those we get a list of events to vote for. Note: These events must be famous on a WORLD scale, so for instance the Boston Red Sox winning the World Series doesn't count because nobody outside the USA gives a fuck about it.

2. For an event to qualify, it must have approval from somebody from America, Canada, England/Wales/Ireland AND Australia/New Zealand. (We should probably have 1 credible poster - who knows and understand sports from all around the world - from each region as "Judges", but I won't represent Australia because I don't give a fuck about poofter sports like soccer & gridiron, so therefore my opinion will be biased)

3. From the remaining list, we have a vote for the best sporting events/moments ever and the top 5 will be the 5 best ever (unless I don't agree with the results in which I will over-rule ).

My nominations are:

- Mohammad Ali's First Round Knockout vs Sonny Liston. (If this isn't on the final vote then somebody will die)
- Ali Lighting the flame at Atlanta
- Maradonna's "Hand of God" in 1986 (If the poms are the only one who rule against this then I'm putting it through due to bias)
- Kieran Perkins being the first person ever to break 15mins in the 1500 freestyle, 1992 (or was it 1996?)
- Jonny Wilkinson vs the rest of the world 2003 Rugby World Cup. (As much as I hate the cunt and the way they played during the tournament, he singlehandedly won the Cup for them and the final against Australia was one of the most exciting sporting matches ever)
- Bradman's career, by far the greatest cricketer ever
- Jordan's 3-peat with the Bulls

Obviously probably not all of these will go through, but it's something to get you all started on.
