Gangrel in ECW?

Take this with a grain of salt, because I haven't yet found it on any of the "big" news sites, but Rick Scaia (Online Onslaught) has reported that Dave "Gangrel" Heath has been contacted about a spot in ECW. I'm inclined to agree with Scaia's analysis, that this is in response to SciFi's pressure for ECW to have some sort of sci-fi/fantasy element.

With Heyman booking, I think Gangrel could work pretty well in ECW; plus, he's another familiar face who isn't blatantly associated with WWE. I know I'm not the only one on these boards who enjoyed his WWF run, so I figured I'd pass the word along.

(Online Onslaught is pretty reliable, but if anybody finds other support for this news/rumor, please link to it.)
