So who saw the Marine? (Wondering what wrestling fans think)

I got home from it about an hour ago. Would have gotten home sooner, but for my car breaking down.

Anyway, I think it's a solid action movie. I think Cena's an unconvincing marine, but no more unconvincing than Segal or Van Dammmmne in their "special ops" roles. The promos make it out to be cheesier than it is. Not that it's not cheesy at points, because it really can be. It's corny as all fuck at points. It's still decent in terms of an action flick though, just something I'd probably watch on DVD or on cable over in the theater (I kind of got strongarmed into going).

The action sequences were strong, and it really does leave Cena looking as convincing an action star as most of the Hollywood standards--He's a shitty actor, but when do you go to see good acting in these movies?--And the supporting cast makes up for him.

...And I still couldn't stop thinking of the Big Hit through this entire movie. Especially the black dude.

Yes, I'm posting this in the wrestling forum to get the opinions specifically of the wresting fans, especially with so many people shitting on it (Though the promos made me want to as well...)

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
