Geetar question. Buzzing 6 string.

Yeah, the low E string is buzzing on both my electic and my A/E guitars. From what I've read, it's generally an action issue, but I was under the impression that this would affect all the strings. I've not spent any time modifying guitars in the past, and I'd probably take 'em in to a shop to get 'em fixed, but I'm wondering what the Hell might be going on...

Any thoughts?
