Okay, questions on two songs (Covers)
The other day on the radio, I heard a version of "I Want You To Want Me" that was neither Cheap Trick nor the Letters to Cleo cover from 10 things.
Last night, I also heard a cover of "Bella Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus. NOw this is on a station where I can normally check their online playlist, but it's not up, despite it having been last night (Our playlists are updated hourly is the claim). It was a woman singing. ANyone know who they could be by? The latter one I'd reckon is new, the Cheap Trick cover is from one of those stations that does that "80s, 90s and NOW" bullshit, so I suppose it could be pretty old (relatively speaking) or pretty new. “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”--John Rogers |
