So Michelle McCool was hospitalized with an enlarged kidney

http://www.wrestleview.com/news2006/1165130359.shtml

In an update to a story posted earlier this week, WWE.com is reporting that Smackdown Diva, Michelle McCool, has been discharged from the hospital after two weeks and is at home resting from an enlarged kidney.

McCool entered the hospital right before Thanksgiving with a condition that left un checked could have been fatal. The enlarged kidney caused her to have an electrolyte imbalance.

"I’d been performing in pain during our overseas trip; that’s when [my back] became an issue. I just couldn’t ignore it any longer" says McCool in the article, she goes on to say "I’m home now But two-weeks in a hospital is enough to drive anyone insane. [Thanksgiving dinner] certainly wasn’t the same; it was nothing compared to good old family cooking. I’m still recovering; I’ve lost a lot of strength and still have trouble sleeping, laughing or even talking. The people I work with have kept my spirits high. Their cards, balloons and voicemails are more than I could ever ask for. WWE fans’ emails and cards have also been very helpful."

On when she will return to television and the road she says, "I can’t predict a date, but I can’t wait to get back; I’ll be okay once I’m back at WWE."

On behalf of everyone here at WrestleView.com we would like to wish Michelle the speediest of recoveries.

I don't really care about her, but that's always scary. Good thing they caught this in time. Woulda been tragic and weird reading about the sudden death of a diva.
