Santana is probably not going to get the same contract that Zito did. They are going to work on locking him up during the next season on a fair but modest deal. He easily could leave, but at this point Terry Ryan is confident that he will have him. Twins were able to keep Kirby Puckett the same way.

I am in no way whatsoever comparing Johan to Ben Wallace, but we in Detroit were confident that we would keep him as well. When the price is right, anyone can leave.
