Think it works anymore? *Smackdown Spoilers*
So, I mean, really, do you think the "big guy squashing the no-name guy or paid loser" thing works anymore?
I mean, you have Mark Henry beat Funaki on Smackdown in a squash match, right? But it is, after all, FUNAKI. And I know this used to be fairly common practice and all, but times change. Do you think a "jobber squash match" has any impact anymore? “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”--John Rogers |
