NBA 2007 Offseason Thread

Not one of those guys you named where rookies last year (at least I don't think so - I realize what VEL said but you gotta look at the situation Rondo came into) Also, in your list a some of those guys are pretty comparable to Rondo already. Obviously, there is a lot of players who are a lot better - but I never said he was the next Isiah Thomas or something. Anyway, alls I'm saying is when he actaully got to play, he put up good numbers and played great defense. He's young and obviously they must have some faith in him if they've traded away both the PG who where ahead of him to start the season last year and basically have handed him the starting job to run an offense with 3 All Stars. I think Rondo is gonna be a solid player for the C's this season, and I thought Gomes would have been the perfect guy coming off the bench. I'm fine with giving up Jefferson and Green but I really would have liked to see them keep Gomes as the 6th man.

Really though, I know you are just gonna keep throwing stats up and ignore the fact that Rondo was third on the depth chart at PG for the first 3 months of the season so I really don't even know why I am wasting my time
