Recap of HHH on Regis & Kelly

Wednesday,March 10,2004 - KayfabeMan recaps:
Noseario Dawson (HHH) on 'LIVE! With Regis & Kelly'

After sitting through bullshit about drag queens, Bill Clinton,
and The Gabor family - we get around to a drag-queen who
uses political maneuvering & family connections to get what
he wants...dahling.

At 9:25 AM Triple H's nose enters,followed by Triple H at 9:30 AM.

HHH is wearing a suit (as usual). Kelly says the women are going
nuts for him; HHH says that if he wore his trunks, all the women
would like him even more. Regis says Triple is no dummy, that he
married the boss' daughter Stephanie McMahon.

Kelly mentions how she was married and divorced to her husband
on their soap opera before they really got married; Triple explains
the wedding angle on TV, and then the fake pregnancy angle,and
their split.

Then,Kelly asks the question we all want to get the answer to "Is
there even any wrestling involved in all of this anymore?".....Regis
says he could beat Vince in a fight. They then show Stephanie on
the side,and Regis says "she's a beautiful girl". Go to commercial.

Return with a clip of HHH spitting water from his intro. Regis asks
what that is,and HHH explains it's his water. Regis says "it looked
like venom to him". Triple H explains that he originally began doing
that by spitting the water on people. They mention that Triple H
did a tour of Japan recently, and Regis then asks if HHH can beat
a sumo wrestler; the reply (quite appropriately) "I can beat anyone".

They plug WM20,and go over the rules of the match. Regis asks if
Vince is a good fighter,and HHH explains that he's a cheater,etc...

With that,and a final 'Mania plug,the segment is now thankfully over.

Side note:after the monologue where they introduce the guests on
the show,Regis shows the TV Guide covers,and then goes "Today
we have one of the wrestlers,Triple....H is it?" And says 'Triple H is
here with us today'. Then Kelly Ripa whispers "Does anybody know
what the H stands for?" and then Regis says "His name is Helmsly
Hurst...something with an H.....and then a few years back they had
shortened it".
