So...Ghost Squad.
I love the game. It's an arcade shooter ported to the Wii, which makes use of a calibration system to make the Wiimote function less like a pointer/cursor and more like an actual light gun.
The game is pretty short; one playthrough runs around half an hour, more or less. It's an arcade shooter, so no surprises there. It's only thirty bucks new, though. Plus, on top of that, the more you play the levels, the more options you unlock (as well as earning points that unlock weapons and character costumes), meaning the levels branch and diverge. The game's still pretty short, but the multiple paths and increased level difficulty make the game incredibly fun to keep replaying. There's not much to discuss about the game I guess, but I'm wondering who all here has played it. “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”--John Rogers |
