It was a 0.09 improvement, I'd attribute that to the Caps improving overall his 2.91 is also good for the 3rd worst GAA of his career as a starter. His save % was down and actually was the worst of his career. Which further tells me his GAA being better was less to do with him and more to do with Team Defense.
