Quick NBA question
Just considering that alot of players (of course no big names so whatever) have opted to play in Europe for more money, do you believe that the NBA will raise the salary cap?
I'm just saying considering the inflation and the low value of the dollar compared to the euro at this point. What if this becomes an issue where players will constantly start leaving? Also, from an ESPN article, it says: "New Jersey Nets free agent Nenad Krstic signed a two year deal worth $3 million euros per year with Triumph Moscow early Tuesday morning, Krstic's agent, Marc Cornstein, said. The salary is the equivalent of around $9 million per year in the United States once you factor in the exchange rate and the fact that European clubs pay all the players' taxes." ------------------------------------------------------------------ Sports club pays THE PLAYERS' TAX? Thats insane. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3508955 |
