And this is my problem.

People try to say "It's okay because it would be no worse than..." and that is a HORRIBLE argument. You should be trying to improve on things, not saying "Well, we've fucked up this much so why not?"

And yes it is entertainment... some of us are entertained in short spurts. Others are entertained by seeing two guys fight for a title that has prestige. I take it seriously in the sense that it would be bad entertainment. Just like when people get pissed about the little nuances in a movie and go off on long rants. There's a reason wrestling message boards exists.

Bottom line, I'm not gonna rant and throw a fit if Beth wins the IC Title but at the same time, it would be a horrible step down for the second-tier title and a terrible decision.
